Looking for an exciting bachelorette spot in the South? Check out Austin, TX! There is so much to do there, and the nightlife ranges from country western bar to VIP lounges until 2am. Just make sure you avoid the summer months unless you enjoy 100 degree weather and 100% humidity – hello sweat and huge hair. The Plastics would not approve.

Bachelorette Party Friday Night
On the first night, check into your VRBO (try to get a cool ranch style house, or a hip apartment near UT, depending on your style), make sure it’s decorated the nine’s with pink everything, and grab dinner at Caroline’s, an amazing restaurant right in the heart of downtown. While you’re there, make sure you check out the famous Butterfly Bridge.

Bachelorette Party Saturday
The next day, start your morning with an amazing brunch at Magnolia Cafe near the river and grab some of their famous Tex Mex to prepare for the long day ahead. After, head to Barton Creek Square for a shopping date with your girls. Make sure to do some people watching, check out a cool bath and body shop (just don’t use the foot lotion on your face), and of course grab some pink to wear for going out.
Once back at the VRBO, it’s time for some fun activities. Grab some snacks, put the OG Mean Girls movie on (no hate to Mean Girls 2 or the musical, but everyone loves a classic), and make your very own bach book. Everyone should have brought a picture of themselves to paste in the book, then pass it around and let everyone write sweet notes about your party girls – nice comments only!
It’s time to get ready to go out! It’s not Halloween, though, so there’s no excuse to get dressed up like an animal using sexy lingerie. At the bachelorette we wear pink – except the bride of course.
Grab your last meal in Austin at the Salty Sow, a laidback gastropub that will prepare you for a night full of dancing. Once you’re done, head over to Sixth Street, the best area for nightlife in the whole city. Streets are blocked off and it’s time to go off. Trade in Jingle Bell Rock for a country line dance at The White Horse, or check out the rooftop bar at RIO Austin.

Bachelorette Party Sunday Morning
On the last morning of your incredible bachelorette weekend, make sure to give your girls their party shirts to wear home on the plane, and a “fetch” mug (we’re going to make it happen).
Overall, a four (for you Glen Coco) star weekend spent with the coolest girls you know in a city known as the live music capital of the world.
