Decorate the VRBO with a black streamer curtain and a white “Bride or Die” banner to set the mood for the trip. When everyone has arrived and gets ready in some cute attire, head to dinner at Cornet, a Cajun restaurant on the infamous Bourbon Street. Maybe you’ll even catch some beads!
Bachelorette Party Saturday
In the morning, stop by a world treasure for breakfast: Café Du Monde. They have the best beignets; just make sure you’re not wearing black so you don’t get powdered sugar all over.
Once you’ve eaten one (or five – we don’t judge!) beignets, head to White Sands Lake Day Beach for a beautiful day at the beach without all of the crowds. Break out your best black and white swimsuits for the occasion, grab a beach chair and a drink, and relax for the rest of the morning.
In the afternoon, head back to the VRBO for a light lunch and some fun activities, like decorating jean jackets for going out that night.
It’s time to get ready to go out in your best black and white – don’t forget your cute new jean jackets! Start your night with dinner at Cochon, another Cajon restaurant, this time close to the Mississippi. Then head back to Bourbon Street and have the time of your life in one of the best nightlife places in the country.
Bachelorette Party Sunday Morning
Sunday morning comes and it’s time to pack up and say goodbye. Give the girlies a “’til death do us party” shirt for the plane trip home and a skull mug for them to remember the trip for a long time.
